Cat Dish Kisii Stone

These colorful cat trays are a fair trade product handmade in Kenya. They are hand carved out of stone, sanded until smooth, and dyed. Then an artisan uses a knife to etch the patterns into each tray. These unique catchalls can be used to hold air plants, change, jewelry, keys, office supplies, or stone hearts.

Each one is unique and hand-carved. Sizes and colors vary from the photo.

For decorative use only, getting them wet could damage the dye.

Who Made This: Handcrafted by artisans that work with Venture Imports. At Venture Imports artisan partners are mostly women who are fairly compensated for their work. They have access to interest-free loans, a safe working environment and education for their children.
