Delicate and dreamy, this Pretty in Pink capiz shell strand features softly hued pink shells in a variety of shapes and sizes, creating a shimmering, elegant accent. Whether hung as a room divider, a window curtain, or a single statement piece, it brings light and motion into any space. Each strand includes a metal ring at the top for easy hanging and display.
The capiz shells are sustainably harvested by shell artisans in a fishing village in Java. All parts of the jingle oyster are used—meat for food, shell for crafts, and shell waste for fertilizer. Only full-grown shells are collected to ensure sustainable growth of younger shells.

Balizen partners with local Indonesian artisans who handcraft each item with care and intention. With deep respect for traditional techniques and the natural environment, Balizen supports indigenous craftsmanship through long-term partnerships. Many of these artisans have been creating alongside Balizen for more than 30 years, preserving culture while growing sustainable livelihoods.
