Owl Alpaca Toy - Gray

In some cultures, owls are believed to protect houses from evil forces or bad luck. For others, it is a symbol of wisdom, knowledge, contemplation, and protection. Owls are nocturnal birds of prey that have a keen sense of sight and hearing. They are often associated with the spirit world and carry messages from it to ours.

This owl is handmade from recycled alpaca fur by Alicia, a Peruvian artisan, who decided to take the challenge, think different and innovate. The owl has a soft gray body, a white chest, and a yellow beak with embroidered eyes.

This toy took approximately 2 days by Alicia to complete.

Who Made It: Blossom Inspirations works directly with Peruvian and Mexican artisans, knowing them by name and visiting them at their homes and workshops. Founded in 2009 on the idea of benefiting mutually everyone involved in the production and sale of their eco-friendly, fair trade products. 1% of Blossom Inspirations annual sales go to reforestation of the Peruvian artisans through a NGO.
