Quilled Bluebird with Babies Greeting Card

For the bird lover in your life, or even as a creative baby announcement or mother’s day card, this quilled card features a bluebird feeding baby bluebirds in a nest surrounded by beautiful watercolored leaves, flowers, sticks, and twigs. The two baby bluebirds are stretched out with mouths open and ready for their next meal sitting in a brown quilled nest. The parent bird sits on a higher branch leaning over the babies with a tasty treat and is made of beautiful shades of blue paper strips shaped into its feathers.

Who Made It: Every quilled card is beautifully handmade by a highly skilled artisan and takes one hour to create. Quilling Card, rooted in Vietnam, has a team of women who have become passionate about the art of quilling. Quilling Card provides a stable, safe work environment with healthcare and food benefits to all the artisans. In 2014, they opened their doors and were able to employ over 100 quillers. Now they operate two workshops with 500 locals in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam.
