Who Made It: Blossom Inspirations works directly with Peruvian and Mexican artisans, knowing them by name and visiting them at their homes and workshops. Founded in 2009 on the idea of benefiting mutually everyone involved in the production and sale of their eco-friendly, fair trade products. 1% of Blossom Inspirations annual sales go to reforestation of the Peruvian artisans through a NGO.

About the author:
Rosa Chang Claro (1974 - present) was born in Lima, Peru, to Chinese-Peruvian parents, where she grew up and graduated from Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru, studying business administration. Her career and postgraduate studies would send her to Mexico, where eventually, she founded the fair trade company, Blossom Inspirations in 2009. Following the tenets of fair trade, her company continues to work closely with artisans from her native Peru and additionally from Mexico.
Rosa continues to pursue her passions for swimming and travel, while supporting charities. Since 2013, she and her husband are raising two bilingual girls outside Chicago, IL for whom they read books to every night. This first book, Cuyita Wants to Know the World, was inspired by all of those reading nights.
