Since 1988, SERRV International has partnered with artisans in the Philippines, providing a long-term trading partnership and interest-free advance payment for our orders. Through sales of their products, 28 small producer groups in the Philippines benefit from product design assistance, microfinancing, technical training, special incentives for quality craftsmanship, and access to global markets. Artisans also participate in medical and nutrition programs, sustainable agriculture, and other community projects.
SERRV international is one of the first fair trade organizations in the world. They began their mission by helping displaced European refugees trade their handcrafts for income after the Second World War. Since then, SERRV has extended their reach to 24 countries worldwide, working to empower over 8,000 artisans and farmers every year by selling their beautiful handcrafts.
