Kenyan Safari Rhino and Zebra Spin Drum

Kenyan artisans style these fun spin drums from goatskin, plastic and wood. Each drum features a hand painted rhino design on one side, and a zebra on the other. 

Who Made It: Swahili Modern is a fair trade company that works directly with artisans in several African countries including Burkina Faso, Ghana, Kenya, Rwanda and Zambia. Artisan communities have reliable long-term income sources and it provides vital employment for rural women in particular.
