Large Round Basket (no handle)

Great for home décor or general storage. Perfect for vegans, these baskets are identical to the Large Round baskets except they have no handle.

Who Made It: Local women who work with African Market Baskets in Bolgatanga, the largest town in the Upper east region of Ghana, supplement the family income by weaving baskets that are hand-woven using locally-grown straw. Basket weaving has helped bring much needed income to the villages surrounding Bolgatanga. The traditional skill has been handed down from generation to generation and provides employment to approximately 10,000 people, mostly women.
