Paisley Kalamkari Napkin

The Paisley Kalamkari Napkin is made with 100% soft cotton and natural plant based dyes and comes in a set of 4 napkins. Artisans in Southern India print the fabric for these fair trade napkins using the block-printing style known as “kalamkari”, which involves printing the fabric with natural dyes using wooden blocks and then filling in the details with hand painting. Machine washable and showcase the incredible block printing traditions of India with eco-friendly dyes.

Who Made It: Sevya Handmade gets its name from a Sanskrit word meaning “caring through service”. Sevya works with artisan communities throughout India to combine contemporary designs and styles with traditional, eco-friendly methods of handcraft.
