This eco-chic bag is colorful, enfironmentally friendly and the perfect thing for carrying along your belongings. It makes a colorful diaper bag, book bag or to bring along enough snacks for the day. This recycled patch purse is made from vintage hand embroidered and handwoven fabrics from the Mayan huipiles (women's traditional dress still worn today in different regions of Guatemala). It is fully lined and made according to Fair Trade principles by Guatemalan artisans. Each one of these bags is completely unique, no two are alike.
Who Made It: Lucia’s Imports partners with Guatemalan families, artisan groups, and cooperatives to produce and develop a wholesale market for quality handicrafts and accessories. They work side by side with Guatemalan artisans to help improve their economic well being and enabling them to earn a living wage in a region where there are few opportunities to do so.
