Who Made It: The Tunisian artisan studio Dishes & Deco was founded in 2009. This studio grew out of a love of Mediterranean dishes and the desire to bring them to European and American markets. Inside the 8,000 square foot studio, over a dozen artisans hand paint each line, dot and stroke of glaze onto the white clay dishes. Sobremesa by Greenheart is a fair trade lifestyle brand inspired by a gathering of great friends and the lively conversation that accompanies a delicious meal. Made by blending traditional techniques with a modern aesthetic, each handcrafted product is designed to sustain both the environment and the skilled artisans who made it.
