Bessie Coleman

This ambitious aviator - the first African-American and Native-American woman to hold a pilot's license - overcame a lot of obstacles to achieve her goals. And you know how she did it?  As Bessie put it, "I refused to take no for an answer." Be like Bessie and don’t let anything or anybody stand in your way, especially the naysayers.
