Black Cat Balsa Ornament

This elegant black cat is hand carved out of lightweight balsa wood. Balsa wood is a fast-growing tree that is native to Nicaragua.

Who Made It: Our unique, lightweight balsa ornaments are created by a cooperative of artisans on Isla Solentiname, Nicaragua. Each ornament is inspired by nature, carefully hand-carved with a machete, and painted with realistic detail. 

Materials: Sustainably harvested balsa wood and non-toxic acrylic paint.
