Clasico Glass Decanter - Small

Re-purposed glass now inspires in this elegant new shape designed to accompany your most lavish spreads. They are handmade with recycled glass that is crushed and melted down, and then hand blown by the artisans. Glass is reclaimed and recycled from fragments and shards, melted down and hand-blown into new forms. The mission of COPAVIC serves the local community through their support of worker rights and wages, not to mention their re-purposing of discarded glass.

Who Made It: The cooperative, COPAVIC, formed in 1976 when seventeen artisans came together and reopened a former glass factory in Cantel, Guatemala. Sobremesa by Greenheart is a fair trade lifestyle brand inspired by a gathering of great friends and the lively conversation that accompanies a delicious meal. Made by blending traditional techniques with a modern aesthetic, each handcrafted product is designed to sustain both the environment and the skilled artisans who made it.
