Elephant Mug

These fair trade Elephant Mugs are both whimsical and practical. The elephant trunk also doubles as the mug handle. Each mug is hand painted by artisans in San Antonio Palopo, Guatemala who were trained under ceramicist Ken Edwards. Due to the hand painted nature of each mug, colors and patterns will vary.

Who Made It: Lucia’s Imports partners with Guatemalan families, artisan groups, and cooperatives to produce and develop a wholesale market for quality handicrafts and accessories. They work side by side with Guatemalan artisans to help improve their economic well being and enabling them to earn a living wage in a region where there are few opportunities to do so.
