These beautiful hand-dipped candles are made by the Q'eqchi people of the Guatemalan cloud forests using natural Myrtle wax. They come in a set of 10 in assorted colors. Each small candle burns for approximately 1.5 hours and smells faintly of bayberry. They make for a wonderful gift - especially when paired with any of our beautiful candle-holders!
Who Made This: Artisans at Upavim Crafts in Guatemala have steady employment. Upavim is involved in many community development programs including opening a Community Library, Daycare, School, Pharmacy and Bakery. Their artisans are 75% women who live in High-Crime urban areas but have found community, sanctuary and empowerment at Upavim.
