This elegant shawl is handmade by women artisans in India using 100% silk recycled saris. Two different silk saris are used for each piece, and the saris are hand-stitched together using the traditional kantha embroidery technique in distinctive, artistic patterns. Each piece is unique, and features handmade tassels with buttons at each end, with different prints and colors on each side. These one of a kind pieces can be used as a scarf, wrap or a table runner. Comes in assorted colors and prints.
Who Made It: Sevya Handmade gets its name from a Sanskrit word meaning “caring through service”. Sevya works with artisan communities throughout India to combine contemporary designs and styles with traditional, eco-friendly methods of handcraft.
