Since 1995, SERRV International has partnered with artisans in Pakistan, providing a long-term trading partnership and interest-free advance payment for our orders. Through sales of their products, 25 artisans receive medical and financial support when needed. Artisans in Pakistan also operate their own workshop with more and work with several independently owned workshops to export their expertly crafted stone and shesham wood handcrafts. Artisans in Pakistan hand-select the onyx they carve into beautiful bowls, animals, kitchen tools, and more.
SERRV international is one of the first fair trade organizations in the world. They began their mission by helping displaced European refugees trade their handcrafts for income after the Second World War. Since then, SERRV has extended their reach to 24 countries worldwide, working to empower over 8,000 artisans and farmers every year by selling their beautiful handcrafts.
