Pottery Soap Holder - House & Donkey

$28.95
Article number: Made in Egypt
Availability: In stock

Inspired by the beautiful Egyptian countryside, this handcrafted soap dish depicts a cute donkey and farm houses. The blue used to color parts of the donkey and houses contrasts beautifully with the brown color of the carved clay, and the white glaze covering the dish. The drainage holes on this soap dish will prevent the melting of your bars of soap. Can be matched with a toothbrush holder with the same design.

Because of this item's handcrafted nature, each piece is completely unique and may have some variations from the picture.

Who Made It: This soap dish is handmade by young potters in a pottery school in a small village in Luxor, in the south of Egypt. It is shaped of clay extracted from the quarries of the gorgeous city of Aswan in Egypt, and is then decorated with ceramic glaze. Each piece created by these potters is a one-of-a-kind treasure.

The name of the potter who made this soap holder is Ahmed. It is inscribed in Arabic on the back of the soap holder
