Quilled Angels Ornament

Colorful angels, each with their own coiled design, are made from recycled paper newsprint. Finished with a clear protective coating to add stability. Each one is handcrafted and unique so patterns and colors may vary.

Since 1999, SERRV International has partnered with handcrafters in South Vietnam, providing a long-term trading partnership and interest-free advance payment for our orders. Through sales of their products, handcrafters receive vocational craft training, marketing skills, and equipment, as well as the ability to work from their homes or in small workshops instead of seeking work in factories. Handcrafters also receive social and health care insurance, and may apply for scholarship funds.

SERRV international is one of the first fair trade organizations in the world. They began their mission by helping displaced European refugees trade their handcrafts for income after the Second World War. Since then, SERRV has extended their reach to 24 countries worldwide, working to empower over 8,000 artisans and farmers every year by selling their beautiful
