Quilled Starry Night, Van Gogh - Artist Series

This quilled rendition of Van Gogh's Starry Night is for anyone who loves and appreciates art. Taking several hours to quill, this commemorative replica includes a complex variety of shapes. It was created to share the magic of the record-breaking mosaic and inspire all to shoot for the stars!

Quilling Card is honored to have received the Guinness World Record title for the Largest Quilling Paper Mosaic (Image) of Van Gogh's Starry Night on April 8th, 2022 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

The mosaic consisted of 285 pieces and stands 15.09 feet tall by 19.07 feet wide for a total of 287.77 square feet. The creation of the piece took 300 artisans 3,399 hours of quilling to complete and utilized 18 colors, 191,948 paper strips and 11,970 grams of glue. The remarkable piece was created to commemorate National Quilling Day and Quilling Card's 10 year anniversary on May 10th, 2022.

Who Made It: Every quilled card is beautifully handmade by a highly skilled artisan and takes one hour to create. Quilling Card, rooted in Vietnam, has a team of women who have become passionate about the art of quilling. Quilling Card provides a stable, safe work environment with healthcare and food benefits to all the artisans. In 2014, they opened their doors and were able to employ over 100 quillers. Now they operate two workshops with 500 locals in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam.
