This fabric is called sheeting fabric: it is a durable, machine-made and dryable fabric made from poly cotton. While most of Fair Anita’s fabrics from Cambodia are handwoven, this exception allows for the bag to fold up far more compactly.
Who Made It: Fair Anita is a fair trade company that works with 8,000+ talented women around the world. Artisans make jewelry and accessories using recycled and upcycled materials and earn 2-4 times the minimum wage in their country, as well as health insurance and education stipends for their children. Fair Anita’s mission is investing in women.
