This napkin holder is made of shesham wood in Saharanpur, a city in northern India that is a traditional center of wood carving. Pair with our napkin holder or trivet for a Tree of Life table!
Who Made It: SERRV international is one of the first fair trade organizations in the world. They began their mission by helping displaced European refugees trade their handcrafts for income after the Second World War. Since then, SERRV has extended their reach to 24 countries worldwide, working to empower over 8,000 artisans and farmers every year.
Care Instructions: Wash before first use. Hand wash using a soft sponge and mild soap. Do not soak pieces. Not dishwasher safe. Dry thoroughly, then let air dry overnight. To enhance the natural beauty of the wood, periodically rub with food-safe mineral oil.
