These charming cat bowls are a fair trade product handmade in Kenya. They are hand-carved out of stone and then sanded until smooth. Since the natural bowl shows the natural colors of the stone, some color variations should be expected. One can often see shades of cream, gray, pink, and brown in the bowl. The other two are dyed bold colors. These unique catchalls can be used to hold change, jewelry, keys, or office supplies.
Each one is unique and hand-carved. Sizes and colors vary from the photo.
For decorative use only, getting them wet could damage the dye.
Who Made This: Handcrafted by artisans that work with Venture Imports. At Venture Imports artisan partners are mostly women who are fairly compensated for their work. They have access to interest-free loans, a safe working environment and education for their children.
