Since 1998, SERRV International has partnered with handcrafters in Nepal, providing a long-term trading partnership and interest-free advance payment for our orders. Through sales of their products, more than 1,200 artisans in remote villages and the mountainous regions of Nepal receive fair wages, benefits, safe working conditions, and protection of the environment. Handcrafters in Nepal also help revive Nepalese craft traditions.
SERRV international is one of the first fair trade organizations in the world. They began their mission by helping displaced European refugees trade their handcrafts for income after the Second World War. Since then, SERRV has extended their reach to 24 countries worldwide, working to empower over 8,000 artisans and farmers every year by selling their beautiful handcrafts.
